Apple's dual, magnetic wireless charger for the iPhone and Apple Watch, the MagSafe Duo Charger, is now available for purchase. You can get it in Apple's online store for $129 or $10.75 in 12 monthly installments.
The charger was announced alongside the iPhone 12 in October, but for whatever reason wasn't available for purchase until now. The MagSafe Charger was made available at iPhone 12 launch for $39, but that one only charges the iPhone.
The MagSafe Duo is pricy — twice as expensive as the MagSafe Charger and the $29 Apple Watch Magnetic Charger bought together.
There's an additional issue, though. The MagSafe Duo Charger comes without a power adapter, which is sold separately. This sort of makes sense in the case of the iPhone, which Apple now ships without a power adapter in the box, citing environmental reasons. But the MagSafe Duo Charger is...well, a charger, and it would be nice to get a power adapter with a charger. Apple says that the 20W power adapter will allow for 11W wireless charging, while a 27W adapter will allow for faster, 14W wireless charging.
SEE ALSO: Why you shouldn’t buy Apple’s new MagSafe Duo chargerWe have our thoughts on whether the MagSafe Duo is a good purchase, and you can read them here.
Still, if you really want a two-in-one magnetic charger for your iPhone 12 and your Apple Watch (or other compatible products), now you can finally buy one.
